For this class, you are required to complete several writing assignments that will require you find information from a wide variety of sources on the subject of fashion or costume history. These sources include fashion magazines from past and present, reference book that include information on fashion history as well as history in general, scholarly articles, books kept on reserve at the Malpass Library, websites, and more. To find these materials you will need to hone your bibliographic retrieval skills. During this session, I will demonstrate bibliographic retrieval techniques and also introduce you to sources that will help you with your writing assignments. Good luck and feel free to contact me at any time during the semester if you have questions regarding the library or library research.
