Why Psy?

Psychology is a unique field because our minds matter in most everything we do. How we see and feel, school and job performance, and how we go about finding and using information, among other things are all impacted by areas of psychology!

This session will help you move forward in finding out more about the field using research tools and concepts for finding and citing information effectively.

Some of the objectives the session covers are:

  • How to access databases available through the library
  • Gaining awareness of the value of specific databases/resources
  • Accessing content for psychology topics related to memory including: semantic memory, episodic memory, procedural memory, efficiency of memory, long term memory loss or short term memory loss,
  • Evaluating and citing Information
