I-Share provides information about library materials at over 80 academic and research libraries located throughout Illinois. All WIU Students, Faculty and Staff can set up an account to borrow materials available in other I-Share libraries. An index to articles in over 4000 journals in the Biological Sciences, from 1996 to the present. Full text can be found using the Find It! button.
Science Citation Index (via Web of Science) This link opens in a new window
SCI is an interdisciplinary index to articles in over 3,500 journals from 2004 to the present. It can be used to search for information on who has cited an article. It can also be used to sign up for an account to EndNote, an online system that can be used to access, update and organize references for research.

WIU Libraries' Interlibrary Loan Information
If the Libraries do not have the materials needed for your research, they can be requested from other libraries, generally at no charge, although fees may be charged in special circumstances. Forms to request books, articles and other materials through Interlibrary Loan are available online. Materials found in I-Share may be requested directly (instructions are available on this page). The length of time needed for an item to be delivered may vary. Users should contact Interlibrary Loan for complete details. The telephone number is 309-298-2705.
WIU Libraries' Periodicals Holding List
The holdings list can be used to access full text journals purchased by WIU Libraries, and identify print/microform journals available in the Libraries. The list currently contains over 50,000 e-journals, magazines and newspapers.

A guide to using Endnote Basic, a web-based resource available through the Libraries Web of Science account. It can be used to access, update, organize and maintain references to publications; import references from library catalogs, indexes and databases and the Internet; create and format references for bibliographies; and share references with colleagues.
