The ins and outs of ILL

There are a number of ways to get books, DVDs. conference papers, and other materials. You can use the WestCat library catalog to locate and request items from our collection of books, recordings, government documents and other library materials.

Check the Inter-Library Loan page to get details about how to order books and articles through the email or for pickup at the 2 campuses thorough Iliad and I-Share. I-Share provides information about, the location of, and the ability to request (at no charge) materials located in 64 other Illinois academic libraries and is the primary way to borrow materials at a distance. If you can't find items to borrow from I-Share, you can use the ILLIAD service to order items from most any where in the world.
