I-Share provides information about library materials at over 80 academic and research libraries located throughout Illinois. All WIU Students, Faculty and Staff can set up an account to borrow materials available in other I-Share libraries. When an item in the I-Share catalog is found, users can request that it be sent to WIU or any other I-Share library at no charge..

SciFinder is an index to publications in all areas of chemistry, including inorganic and analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, macromolecular chemistry, applied chemistry, physical chemistry and related areas. Information on searching SciFinder is available on the SciFinder Training Web Site.

SCI is an interdisciplinary index to articles in over 3,500 journals from 2004 to the present. It can be used to search for information on who has cited an article. It can also be used to sign up for an account to EndNote, an online system that can be used to access, update and organize references for research.

MEDLINE contains references to journal articles in medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine and health care published since 1965.

PubMed contains more than 24 million citations to biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books, including some links to full-text articles.
