A. To locate scholarly sources
B. Be able to cite them correctly.
C. Find  books and peer-reviewed journal articles and references. 
D. How to limit resources to recent ones (within 5 years).
E.  Become familiar with APA citation and reference styles.
F.  Become familiar with tools for managing citations 
 

Research as a Process

  • Most of the time, finding some information on a topic is so easy a monkey could do it! Info is everywhere.
  • The challenge? Assignments that ask for
    • scholarly or academic articles
    • multiple relevant sources
    • or even "the best" information
  • But it doesn't have to be hard, especially if you take it one step at a time.
