How Do I Seek Permission to Use Copyrighted Works?

It can be difficult to know whether you need to seek permission to use a work.  Use the Copyright Management Center's quick guide to help you through the process.

  • Sample Permission Letters  
    The Copyright Management Center at IUPUI provides sample letters for general requests. In addition, there are sample letters for making photocopies, using websites, and audiovisual materials.
