Communication Sciences & Disorders: Databases

Department Research Guides identify and define standard information retrieval tools for a specific department. Each guide was created and is maintained by the library liaison for that department. We encourage you to recommend resources for the guides.

Databases

Below are some of the more databases available for your research:

ERIC - Over one million articles, documents, and reports on all aspects of education.

Health Source Nursing Academic - Full text of nearly 480 scholarly health periodicals. Indexing and abstracts to over 510 journals focusing on all areas of health (with a focus on nursing and allied health).

Medline - 3500 periodicals on clinical medicine, dentistry, education, experimental medicine, health services administration, nursing, nutrition, pathology, psychiatry, toxicology, veterinary medicine.

CINAHL -    Full text of nearly 750 periodicals. Topics include nursing, allied health, consumer health, biomedicine, and health sciences librarians.

Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts - More than 2600 periodicals on research in linguistics, speech, language, and hearing pathology.

Communication & Mass Media Complete - Indexes more than 300 communication and mass media journals; full text for more than 200 titles on all aspects of communication and mass media.
