Ethics: Organizations

Organizations Implementation of Ethics

Many viable organizations have ethical codes of conduct. These standards help to maintain a sense of decorum in the workplace. The principal goal of ethics is to do no harm which means organization members are not able to physically, psychologically or emotionally endanger the well-being colleagues.

- Institutions insert safeguards within their organization to prevent workplace discrimination such as sexism, ageism, sexual orientation discrimination, racism, religious persecution.

- Information regarding discrimination definitions can be found at U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
