Department Research Guides identify and define standard information retrieval tools for a specific department. Each guide was created and is maintained by the library liaison for that department. We encourage you to recommend resources for the guides.
JSTOR offers researchers the ability to retrieve high-resolution,
scanned images of journal issues and pages as they were originally
designed, printed, and illustrated. The journals archived in JSTOR span
many disciplines. Over the summer the University Libraries acquired

Use the advanced search option and limit your results to the 15 African American Studies titles and/or the 32 African Studies journals.
Provides full-text to over 100 scholarly journals. Use it to
update JSTOR titles. Limit your search to those journals subscribed to
