Introduction

Welcome to the Leslie F. Malpass Library. The goal of this session is to teach you how to efficiently and effectively conduct research on social problems facing the Black community, including demographic information. 

Objectives

  • become familiar with standard information retrieval tools in African American Studies
  • execute effective and efficient search strategies
  • retrieve the full-text of desired bilbiographic items
