These are sources that are not affiliated with the WIU Libraries and are free, such Google Scholar, Internet Archive, and ProCon.org
I have created a short list of the sites from which I receive regular email updates or which I visit frequently. Not all of them are sources of information, but rather help me manage information. I have listed a few of them in the "citation management" tab in this guide.
I have also added several fact checking sites that you might use. In order to help keep you on your toes (read: skeptical), I am adding this article in Forbes.com, which is one of many, that claim to "check the checkers." You can decide for yourself.
