This guide provides links to resources that can be used to find information on global environmental issues.

Introduction

This guide has been developed to provide links to information sources that might be useful in research about environmental history. It provides information on searching WestCat and I-Share, links to and information about indexes that can be used to locate information about the history, the environment and environmental issues and links to digital and other collections that might be useful in doing research about these topics.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please ask at the Main Reference Desk (2nd Floor, Malpass Library), the Government Publications Office (4th Floor, Malpass Library) or the Quad Cities Library. The Libraries also provide assistance via e-mail.

World Environmental Organizations

There are a number of groups that work on issues related to the global environment. The websites following organizations and groups provide information on their work and environmental issues that they address. Reading descriptions of these issues might be useful in finding a topic for the research paper.
