Steps to track a news source for a specific country

Here are the basic steps to track a religious news source for a particular country using the Access World News Database

  1. Put the name of the religion in one blank [For instance Judaism, Islam, or Christianity].
  2. Select LEAD/FIRST PARAGRAPH from the dropdown menu beside the blank.
  3. On the left side bar. Click World Region Select the region, such as North America or Middle East.
  4. On the left side bar. Click Country. Select the country, such as USA or Israel and Palestinian Territories
  5. Click publication and select one.
  6. Click on the article title you want.
  7. At the top click Export / Export Article Links then click. Copy the OpenURL link. 

Steps to find a articles on a topic

Follow these steps to find topic articles in library databases

  1. Add religion name to blank. [For instance Judaism, Islam, or Christianity].
  2. Add topic to another blank. [like hip-hop]
  3. Search.
  4. At the top of the list on the right, sort results by relevance.
  5. Look at the titles of the result and the Subject terms to see if your term matches. Click on the title.
  6. In the item record, click PermaLink on the right sidebar.
  7. Copy the URL.
