Welcome to the world of historic newspapers such as the "London Times," but referred to officially as "The Times." We have access to this esteemed newspaper back to 1785! It covers our time period nicely, and it's in English! You may consider this a primary source, if allowed by your professor. The downside of historic newspapers is that the actual paper is in microfilm (ask at the Access Services desk, opposite the Reference Desk on the ground level (2nd). WIU Lilbraries has an index to the paper going back to 1790! Located on the index shevles in the Reference Area.
