The average person using email that is business related receives and sends over 100 emails per day. Emails are also easily misunderstood. Due to the mass volume of emails one can receive and send, it is important to write emails clearly and concisely. Writing clearly is a skill and like all skills, you have to work at it. Writing clearly means knowing your purpose, the "One Thing" Rule, showing empathy, Keep introductions brief and proof read before sending.
