Homeschooling: Intro

Introduction

Homeschooling is the process of educating a child inside the home rather than in a private or public school system. Homecoming is oftentimes facilitated by a parent, but sometimes is conducted by a private tutor who comes in to the home. There are many advantages to homeschooling, shown by studies that claim homeschooled student test one-half to four-and-a-half grades higher than their age. There are many claimed disadvantages, too, a primary one being the lack of socialization that some homeschooled students may have, setting them up for future social failures.
