MUS 390: European Art Music I: Home

This guide is designed to help you find the materials you will need to complete your research paper successfully. It suggests ways to search for books, scores, and recordings at the Music Library, as well as online resources relevant to your topic. The tabs along the top of the page deal with the techniques that will help you in using the library and writing your paper.

In order to complete this assignment successfully, you should be able to:

• Search for scores and recordings in WestCat​
• Identify and locate scholarly editions
• Identify and find peer-reviewed scholarly articles
• Search other resources, such as online sources and reference books, for biographical and contextual information
• Create an annotated bibliography using Turabian style
