Find a Journal: Examine the Citation

This guide will help you find full-text articles from a particular publication.

A Typical Citation

If you're looking for a particular article, you'll most likely have an article citation. This might come from an article's bibliography or directly from your professor. Citations typically contain the following information:

Find the Journal Title

In your citation, you'll first need to locate the title of the journal where the article appeared. This is typically found right after the name of the article. Jot this title down, making sure you copy it exactly. In our example on the left, the journal title is:
