Find a Journal: Use the Find It! Tool

This guide will help you find full-text articles from a particular publication.

Find It!

After searching for your journal, you will be taken into the Periodicals Holdings List. This list will tell you if the library has full text access to your journal, in which database(s) you can find it, and the range of dates for which we have coverage.

You'll need to find your journal in the list and click on the "Find it" button. If you're not sure which journal is yours, ask a librarian!

SFX

Now that you've located your journal in the periodical holdings list, you will be taken into a tool called SFX. This tool will (finally!) tell you where you need to go for your article.

In the example above, notice that we have Modern Fiction Studies in Project Muse Standard Collection, as well as on microfilm. For each location, there is a range of dates for which we have full text. If you go back to the "Examine the Citation" page of this guide, you'll notice that our article was published in 1965. That means we'll have to seek out microfilm on the 2nd floor of Malpass Library.
