Study Time

Large Groups

University Libraries may provide study space in the library for large study groups. This policy provides the guidelines and opportunities to reserve these study areas. 

To find out how to sign up and what the policy is for group study, go the library hompage, on the right side go to About the Libraries, then from the menu select Mission and Policies, then click on Policy on Group Study.

Floor by Floor

 

 

The library is a multi-leveled spiral rising up 5 floors above the ground. On each floor you will find specific resources and services that form the library information experience.

  • COMPUTERS AND MAIN SERVICE AREAS
  • 1st Floor - Digital Commons (Equipment Check Out, Digital Production Studio
  • 2nd Floor (Ground level) - Circulation, LCC2 Classroom, Reference Desk and Reference collection,  Interlibrary Loan
  • 3rd Floor - LCC3 Classroom, DVDs, Print periodicals, magazines, journals, newspapers, (in alphbetical order)
     
  • QUIET FLOORS
  • 4th Floor - Government documents, Book Collection, Some Computers
  • 5th Floor - Book Collection, Study Rooms
  • 6th Floor - Archives and Special Collections, Book Collection, Study Rooms

 

Small Study Rooms

There are a number of small group study room in the library. All rooms are fisrt come, first, serve.

Here's the breakdown.

3rd Floor-4 Larger group study rooms,

4th Floor=Row of 5 or so  smaller study rooms along the insides of the floor.

5th Floor- Row of 5 or so of smaller study rooms along the insides of the floor.
