To locate the required textbooks for your courses at WIU, refer to the course information in the university's catalog. This will specify the necessary texts for each of your classes. Once you have the textbook details, visit the WIU bookstore, either online or in-person. The bookstore organizes materials by course, so you can easily find and purchase the required books.
If ordering online, simply add the texts to your cart and complete the checkout process. For in-person visits, the bookstore staff can assist you in locating and obtaining the necessary course materials. It's recommended to complete this process prior to the start of the semester to ensure you have the books ready for the first day of classes. This may also provide opportunities to find used or discounted textbook options.
1. Go to the MyWIU on the WIU homepage.
2. GO to STARS and Login, or just do a course search from the Quick Look menu. Search for a course. Click on the Plus sign by the course to open the complete information.
3. Find the Additional information and click on the plus sign. The Text book information appears with the book title, author name, publisher, edition, and International Standard Book Number (ISBN) . There is also a link to the WIU Bookstore home page.
