This guide provides information about the maps shown in the World War II Map Tour that was offered in Malpass Library on April 16, 2019.

Maps from the Office of Strategic Services

The Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the precursor to the Central Intelligence Agency, produced a number of maps during World War II. The WIU Libraries' map collection has three maps of areas in South America produced by the OSS. All of them show the distribution of Japanese in South American countries. The map of Cali also shows the locations of German estates.
