Results
In the social sciences and sciences, a thesis would typically include a “Results” section; in the humanities, you might not have this section. The “Results'' section of your honors thesis is where you present the findings of your research, based on the data you have collected and analyzed. Your main goal is to demonstrate how your research addresses your main question(s) or hypotheses. To ensure clarity, organize your data in a logical manner and make sure that it directly relates to your research objectives. Clearly present your results, using tables, figures, and written explanations. Be thorough and transparent when you present the information and remember to refer to your methodology section when discussing the data analysis process. This section should serve as the foundation for your subsequent “Discussion” section to make sure your research is accessible and insightful to your reader.
